Now this is just super cool! Making your own food-grade silicon mold & brick shaped gummy candies in 5 easy steps. Our LUG has a Christmas party coming up in December... I've been thinking that it would be neat to serve drinks in PaB cups, with LEGO ice (from the official LEGO ice cube tray). I like the idea of Kellog's LEGO fruit snacks, but brick shaped gummy candies would be much more cooler...
Now the one thing I don't understand, with so many great LEGO parts out there, why would you just create a mold of standard bricks... why not minifigs, castle shields, helmets, & spears? :)

LEGO as Jewelry
Now I've seen crafty looking LEGO jewelry that looks cool, but this LEGO jewelry really elevates the art form to a new level. There's also a few "artist's process shots" here, here, and here.

LEGO Puppetry
So here's the next evolution in LEGO MOCs, LEGO puppetry. It's such a cool idea that I'm wondering why it never came up before... very simple in it's construction. And it would be a cool construction project with kids -- build your own LEGO puppet, then have a puppet show... It does have a 'craft' element to it if you use fishing line, but that's something easy to thread through a Technic brick, without damaging bricks... I applaud Matt Armstrong (Monstrbrick) for this cool idea!
