Just up uploaded a few boat race videos from our GFLUG Boat, Build & BBQ meeting. I was under obligation not to release this until after Brickworld's Boat Race. :)
This is pretty cool. I would love to have seen individual boat pics for each contestant and maybe profiles of each ship. I am wondering how you guys made these ships propel and steer.
You're right. I should have gotten picts of each boat. Unfortunately, we didn't bring our camera to the meeting, just the video camera.
Boats were controlled either by R/C, Power Functions, or NXT unit (encased in zip loc bag). As a club, we have been racing boats for a few years now. :)
